Director Born and raised in Jacksonville Florida. With a BA from Columbia College in Speech-Language Pathology and an MS from Florida State University in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Specialties include deaf and hard of hearing, autism spectrum disorder, articulation & phonology and early intervention therapies.

Lindy was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL.  She graduated from University of Tennessee in 2000 with a BA in Communication Disorders and her MED in Speech Language Pathology in 2005 from Armstrong Atlantic State University.  Having worked in many settings she loves working with kids to “give them a voice” specifically focusing on autism, aspergers, downs syndrome, apraxia and fluency.  In her spare time Lindy loves spending time with her husband and 2 daughters. With her experience and background she is also a supervising therapist in the school setting.

Front office administrator and billing specialists Caroline was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin and went to school at Columbia International University in Columbia SC. One of her favorite things about working at Atlantic Speech Therapy is the progress kids make as they come out of their sessions. “Seeing their true joy and excitement about a sound or word they could say for the first time is incredible.”

Brittany was born in Iowa and lived in Fort Myers Florida for almost 20 years.  She has been in Jacksonville since the Fall of 2012 and graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s in Church Music.  Brittany has held many positions, her most fulfilling being a gymnastics coach and piano teacher for over 15 years. She now holds the full-time Office Administrator position and has enjoyed working at Atlantic Speech Therapy thus far and getting to meet the wonderful families!  She looks forward to continuing with AST!

Benefits Administrator

Dana was born and raised in Jacksonville and has lived here all of her life. She received her AA in general studies and AS in Sign Language Interpretation from Florida State College of Jacksonville. She went on to the University of South Florida to receive her BA in Communication Science Disorders with a concentration in Sign Language Interpretation and a minor in Linguistics. Dana has always had a passion for languages in general, as well different types of communication so having the opportunity to work in a speech therapy office while I pursuing her career as an ASL interpreter just seemed to fit! “As one of the office administrators, it has truly been a blessing to work under such amazing people who’ve allowed me to teach ASL classes here at the office while also getting to be a part of the lives of the families here at Atlantic Speech.

Alicia has a BA in Government from the University of Virginia, a BS in Secondary Education from Virginia Commonwealth University and a MS in Speech Pathology from the University of Hawaii.   With over 20 years of experience as a speech pathologist in a variety of settings, she and her family moved to Jacksonville from the Washington DC area following her husband’s retirement from the US Army.  Alicia feels privileged to work with military families and especially enjoys teaching social thinking skills using the framework of Michelle Garcia Winner.

Kaitlin graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She attended UCF for her undergraduate studies as well and minors in Spanish Language. Kaitlin is a native of Jacksonville, FL but has also lived in California and Northern Virginia. Kaitlin enjoys working with students with Autism, students with severe communication deficits, and social skills needs. She is trained in PECS and has experience working with students with AAC needs.

Meghan graduated with her BA in Communication Disorders from Harding University and a MS in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas. Specialties include autism spectrum disorder, articulation and phonology therapy, receptive/expressive language delay/disorders.

Leslie graduated with a Speech-Language Pathology degree from Nova Southeastern University. She specializes in early intervention for developmentally delayed and children who are on the spectrum, also children with autism and Asperger’s, treating language processing deficits, and improving articulation and phonological awareness.

Speech Language Pathologist

Corey completed his undergraduate and graduate course work for communication sciences and disordered at Valdosta State University in Valdosta, GA. His home town is Moultrie, GA right outside of Valdosta, GA. He loves working with children who are language and/or speech impaired due to Autism Spectrum Disorder. He also enjoys helping non-verbal children who have Autism develop communication skills that are necessary for day to day living. He is trained in PECS and he loves helping children of all ages and disabilities reach their full potential.

Sonali is originally from Huntsville, AL . She graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Nova Southeastern University. She has worked in a hospital setting, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics for pediatrics and geriatrics, and private schools. She likes to work with the pediatrics and geriatrics population.

Marlene graduated from Loma Linda University with a BA in Communication Disorders and obtained her MA in Communication Sciences and Disorders from San Diego State University.  She has a passion for working with children who have speech or language difficulties and enjoys helping them reach their potential.  She is fluent in Spanish and PECS trained.

Ann-Marie – relocated to Florida in 2007 from New York where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ithaca College, and her Master of Arts from New York University. She enjoys watching the excitement of children and helping families understand the vital role they play in the comprehension and expressive communication development. Her areas of expertise include developmental delays, articulation and phonological impairments, receptive and expressive language disorders, oral motor treatment and sensory feeding difficulties.

Kristyn was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has worked in private schools and clinics and has a background working with ABA therapists. Her passion is working with children, especially those with special needs.

Calonda was born in Lake City, FL, but raised between Macclenny and Jacksonville, FL. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She continued her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology at Nova Southeastern University. Her work history includes the public school system in Duval County. She enjoys working with the pediatric population and a wide range of exceptionalities.

Jessica is originally from Pittsburgh, PA and received her Masters degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. She moved to Jacksonville in 2012 for her first job as a speech-language pathologist in an elementary school when she found Atlantic Speech Therapy! She began working in various charter schools and seeing pediatric and adult clients in the clinic. She moved, with her husband to Nashville for 3 years, but missed Jacksonville and working for Jessica, so as of July, 2018, she came back! Jessica loves working with school-aged children to enable them to find their voice and enjoys working with students who stutter, have expressive/receptive language delays, language memory deficits, and pragmatic language needs.

Sarah is from Cocoa Beach, Florida and received her Bachelors of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a Minor in Vocal Performance at the University of Florida in 2010.  She then went on to receive her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Florida in 2012. Sarah has clinical and work experience with most all settings, including Skilled Nursing and In-Patient adult services, but has worked primarily in the Duval County Public School system serving both elementary general education students and elementary students in the Self-Contained Communication and Social Skills( CSS) program.  She also specializes in working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and language disorders and has Level 1 and Level 2 training from the PECS program and training in educational Assistive Technology (AT) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Sarah also enjoys providing services for voice disorders and accent modification.

Hannah was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. Hannah received her undergraduate and graduate degree from Valdosta State University; Go Blazers! She moved to Jacksonville, FL in 2017 and instantly fell in love with the area. Since graduation, she has worked with mostly pediatric population and some adults, including brain injury. Working for Atlantic Speech Therapy for the past two years has been an invaluable experience. Hannah’s brother is on the Autism Spectrum, so she truly believes in early detection and early intervention. Hannah specializes in early intervention including  receptive/expressive language and phonology, autism spectrum disorder, and school aged receptive/expressive language disorder. “The field of speech language pathology is truly a passion of mine, and I feel blessed I get to work with so many families!

Liz is from Central Florida and moved to Jacksonville in 2013 after graduating from the University of Florida with her Bachelor’s in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences and a minor in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is currently attending Florida State University to earn a Masters in Communication Science and Disorders and is enjoying interning and working at Atlantic Speech Therapy as well as working as an SLPA in the schools!

Occupational Therapist

With A BS in Occupational Therapy from the University of Florida in 1985 she has 28 years experience in working with children of all ages and diagnosis. Her career began in south Florida where she advanced to the Director of Occupational Therapy and a pediatric program coordinator in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. She has been in the Jacksonville area for the past 19 years working with children in both the inpatient hospital and outpatient therapy environments. She specializes in working with children with autistic spectrum disorder, neurological deficits and sensory processing dysfunction and has completed extensive continuing education coursework. She developed a website for management of computer applications and games entitled games4the spectrum.

Lauren was born and raised in Cape Coral, Florida and moved to Jacksonville in 2015. She received her B.S. in Family and Child Sciences at FSU.  After graduating, she worked at a prescribed pediatric extended care facility for medically fragile children – this is where her passion for occupational therapy began!  She returned to school to get her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Florida A & M University. Lauren has a huge heart for helping children and families see that no obstacle is too big and that every child is worth investing in.

Eisvina was born in Lithuania and moved to the states in 2001. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Food Science and Human Nutrition Degree and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Florida Gulf Coast University. She loves working with children and adults with various diagnoses to help them achieve success in all areas of life! Eisvina has experience in outpatient pediatrics, skilled nursing, and inpatient rehab. She enjoys hiking, reading, going to the beach, and exploring new places in Jacksonville!
